About Our Veterinarian

Robert C. Feccia, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Robert Feccia was born and raised in Milford, MA. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine in 1978 from the University of New Hampshire and his Master of Science degree in Animal Reproduction from the University of Connecticut in 1980. Following a three-year stint in the U.S. Army as a Medical Specialist, Dr. Feccia attended Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1987. Dr. Feccia founded the Leominster Animal Hospital in 1988 when it was being operated as a small part-time clinic in the little “grey house” on Central Street. In 2006, the hospital moved to an expanded site on New Lancaster Road.

Robert Feccia, DVM
Dr. Robert Feccia was born and raised in Milford, MA. Following a three-year stint in the U.S. Army as a Medical Specialist, Dr. Feccia attended Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1987. Dr. Feccia founded the Leominster Animal Hospital in 1988 when it was being operated as a small part-time clinic in the little “grey house” on Central Street. In 2006, the hospital moved to an expanded site on New Lancaster Road.
Over the course of his 30-plus year career, Dr. Feccia has helped countless pets lead healthier and longer lives through his devotion to animal care. He considers it a privilege to assist people with high quality and affordable health care for their pets.
In his spare time, Dr. Feccia enjoys a multitude of activities including beekeeping, sugaring, CrossFit, hiking, biking, running, and yard work. To date, he has completed 10 marathons, with his most recent being the Athens Marathon.
Dr. Feccia loves being a veterinarian and looks forward to helping your pet live life to the fullest.

Kelsea Teto
Kelsea is a Certified Veterinary Technician who graduated from UMASS Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2013, the same year she started working at Leominster Animal Hospital. She has over 10 years of experience working as a veterinary nurse and has spent time working with exotics, avians, and emergency hospitals. Kelsea has a passion for animals and strives to help all patients have stress and fear-free experience during their visit.
Kelsea lives in Templeton with her husband, Jim; two human children, Kendal and Colton; and their dog Atari. She enjoys camping with the family in the summer and is happy doing any outdoor activities.

Jennifer Heller
Jen has been with Leominster Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician since 2014. Over the course of the last ten years, she has worked in a variety of animal medical care positions, which provided her extensive on-the-job experience for her current role. Jen’s cherished pets include two Border Collies (Brian and her newest addition, Azure) and an African Grey parrot (Lucky).

Cameron is a certified Veterinary Assistant who graduated from Animal Behavioral College in September 2019. After completing her externship, she joined the team here at Leominster Animal Hospital in October 2019. Cameron aspires to gain knowledge and experience as she works toward her goal of becoming a veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the drums, running, yoga, and long walks with her daughter, Layla, and fur baby, Banjo.

Dakota Sorrelle
Dakota graduated from The University of Tampa in 2019 with a B.S. in Biology (Pre-Vet Med) and a minor in chemistry. She has a wide range of veterinary experience, including an externship in South Africa and working at zoos, farms, and small animal hospitals. Dakota is currently interviewing for veterinary schools to pursue her goal of becoming an African wildlife veterinarian and specializing in either orthopedic surgery or pathology.
In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, exercising, and spending time with her 2 chocolate labs- Augie and Mookie. She also has an adopted blind rhinoceros, Max, who lives in an orphanage in Kenya and hopes to visit him soon!

Zo Zupko
Zo (they/them) joined the LAH team in November 2020. They graduated from UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science in 2018. They’re currently attending Mount Wachusett Community College to get their Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. Zo worked as a doggy daycare attendant for two years, and their experience taught them a lot about canine breeds, body language, behavior, and training. When Zo isn’t working or studying, you can find them playing video games, watching anime, or listening to paranormal and true crime podcasts. Zo is the happy parent of three adorable male rats named Bowser, Ganon, and Ridley, and they hope to one day be the owner of a pug puppy (or two).

Hannah has been in the animal field for about 5 years now and doing many different things from dog training to daycare to grooming and now tech assistant. She loves to craft and make dog Bandanas and other dog-related things. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her family and her dog Bentley.

Andrea Bergeron
Andrea started her career in 2010 working at Wachusett Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. After gaining some experience in an emergency setting, she switched to general practices before moving to Florida and working at a low-cost clinic. While in Florida, she established her own animal rescue. Since returning to Massachusetts in late 2021, Andrea has continued to pursue her passion of rescuing in her hometown of Hubbardston. Despite overwhelming challenges with rebuilding her rescue in New England, Andrea is focused and determined that all owners understand the importance of adequate pet care and are able to discuss concerns and make wellness plans that best suit their pet and their lifestyle.
Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband Kenneth of 17 years, and her 16-year-old daughter Trinity, and 9-year-old daughter Mckayla. During downtime, Andrea likes to fish, hunt, hike, kayak, and play in the gardens and tend to the farm animals.

Amber Mossey
Amber has worked with animals since 2018. She began as a Dog Trainer then went to a Doggy Day Care before becoming a receptionist for an Emergency hospital. Amber has now joined our team here at Leominster Animal hospital as our Receptionist Supervisor. When she’s not at work, she’s spending time with her kitty, Spooky, her family and doing crafts. Spooky did not want her photo taken so Stretch filled in for her!”

Linda, who has been a Client Service Representative since 2004, is the heart of the Leominster Animal Hospital. When not working, her activities include spending as much time as possible with her four cherished grandchildren and participating in her church activities. Linda also loves to bake, which is a special benefit for the LAH staff.

Niki has an extensive background working with both large and small animals. After years spent working with horses, she is excited to be here at LAH and working in the veterinary field. Niki enjoys caring for her horses, flock of sheep, and dogs and cats when not working.

Anna, a graduate of the Dalton School of Grooming, has been a groomer at Leominster Animal Hospital since 1993. Over the years, she has developed a devoted clientele who appreciate Anna’s attention to detail and her caring attitude with handling their cherished pets.

Carol, who has worked in equine and small animal related fields for 33 years, joined Leominster Animal Hospital in 2012. Working with animals has always been a rewarding and fulfilling experience for Carol, who also volunteers at an Equine therapy facility. She currently shares her life with one dog, one cat, and a horse.
